Corset Skirt and Top 18-inch doll clothes PDF sewing pattern

The Corset Top and Skirt pattern creates a romantic silhouette with a fitted corset-style top and a yoke gathered skirt. All versions of the top feature a soft square neckline, shoulder straps, and a cropped length that pairs beautifully with the skirt. The lace-up detail adds a vintage-inspired touch, while the wide yoke and gathered skirt create a charming and modern look.

The corset top includes three styles: a classic lace-up back, a lace-up front with a modesty panel, and a version with a basque waist for a traditional corset silhouette.  It can be finished with three closure options: grommets, ribbon loops, or hook and loop tape.

Materials: 
For the Top
•    1/3”  yard woven fabric  
    Recommended fabrics are lightweight woven cotton such as calico, poplin, seersucker,  quilting cotton, lawn, eyelet, batiste, gingham
•    1/4”  yard thin lining fabric such as broadcloth, poplin, poly lining
•    ½” inch wide store-bought binding (optional)
•    Matching thread

For the Back Closure, pick one of these:
•    Grommet Tool Kit – 1/8” to 3/16” wide (I bought mine from Amazon), here are the links if you are interested.  This type of grommet still needs a rubber mallet or hammer and some type of board like a piece of plywood to make it work.

•    ¼” wide ribbon or nylon cord 

For the Skirt
•    1/4”  yard woven fabric

•    1/8”  yard thin lining fabric such as broadcloth, poplin, poly lining
•    Hook and loop tape
